求虚拟语气练习题答案

这只可以用过去时么？
答：请记住一个重要句型：
It is (high) time (that) sb. did sth. (It is (high) time (that) sb. should do sth.）
表示：某人该做某事了。（ 是某人该做某事的时候了）
=It is time for sb. to do sth.
因为这个句型中的从句谓语动词用了奇怪的过去时（/ should+V），所以将它编入了虚拟语气中（表示一种愿望，名至所归）。
不过，请记住，第二种表达法中的should是不可以省略的。这与虚拟语气10动词（insist, suggest, advise, demand 等等）中的宾语从句是不一样的。
所以本题不能选AC。
另外， go to bed 与go to sleep的区别，很多人都是很清楚。主要是后者。
前者表示“上床去睡觉”，后者不是“去睡觉”，而是“入睡、进入睡眠状态”，这里的to 是介词，sleep是名词，相信很多人误以为是不定式to sleep, 表示“去”的目的。这是错误的。
所以本题的最佳选择是D。
