in recent years,the problem of "white pollution" caused by discarded plastic bags has become incrersingly serious in china. in order to solve this problem, the state council has announced that from june 1 on, all supermarkets and stores are forbidden to provide free plastic bags.
the majority of people are happy at this news . they think it is one of the most effective ways to solve this particular environmental problem. however, some people complain that it is not convenient for them to do their shopping without plastic bags . what's more , they do not have used plastic bags to put their rubbish in at home.
in my opinion , the government has made a wise decision . everyone should use less plastic bags and take better care of the environment.
