一道英语主动句改被动句的题目
Everyone in the room suddenly became aware of the strange shadow.
这句能不能改成被动句？能的话怎么改？
如果不能改，为什么不能改？
因为这句话的谓语动词是became。became是系动词。系动词不能用于被动语态。

被动语态主要在下列几种情况下使用
1.不知道或没有必要知道动作的执行者
E g. Trees are planted in spring. (主要说明树在春天被种下，没有必要说明由谁栽种)
This watch is made in this factory(主要说明这块表是中国造的，没有必要说明由谁来造)
2．强调动作的承受者，而不是实施者时，即谈话的中心，是动作的承受者
E g. English is used by most people ;(谈论英语使用的广泛性)
3．出于礼貌、客套等方面，不便说出动作的执行者
E g. Are you told to do this ?
二．被动语态的结构
1．被动语态，由“助动词be+及物动词的过去分词”构成，助动词be有人称、时态、数的变化，其变化规则与be作为连系动词时完全一样：
一般现在时：am (is, are)+过去分词 一般过去时：was(were)+过去分词
现在进行时：am (is, are)+being + 过去分词 过去进行时：was(were)+ being +过去分词
现在完成时：have(has)+ been + 过去分词 过去完成时：had + been + 过去分词
一般将来时：shall(will)+ be + 过去分词 am (is, are)going to + be+ 过去分词
过去将来时：should(would)+ be + 过去分词 was(were)going to + be + 过去分词
2.被动语态句式的变化: 否定句在助动词be 后加not ,疑问句将助动词be 置于句首
E g. Jim is invited to the party.（肯定句）
Jim isn’t invited to the party （否定句）
Is Jim invited to the party ? Yes ,he is .（疑问句）
3．不及物动词，不能构成被动语态 。但少数由“动词+介词或动词+副词”构成的短词动词相当于及物动词，可以有宾语，故可以有被动语态，但这种短语是一个不可分割的整体，在变为被动语态时，不可去掉其中的介词或副词。
E g. The old should be spoken to politely. （对老人说话时应该要礼貌）
The boy is looked after well by his parents.（男孩被他的父母照顾得很好）
4.特殊的被动语态结构
（1）含情态动词的被动语态：由情态动词(can may must should等)+be+动词的过去分词
E g. The environment should be protected by everyone.（人人应该保护环境）
The classroom must be cleaned everyday ( 必须每天打扫教室)
这句话的谓语动词是became为不及物动词，且为系表结构。所以，这句话不能改为被动语态
