Are Basic Skills Useless?
In this picture, we can see a teacher teaching some pupils the multiplication table. One of the students asked suddenly, " No offense, but by the time we're in the job market, won't that stuff be outdated?"
The pupil's thought is very interesting but also incorrect. Are basic skills really useless? I don't think so. Basic skills are like foundation bed, which is indespensible for houses or even mansions.
