I am writing to tell you something about the Mid-Autumn Festival. It is one of our traditional festival in China. It falls on the 15th of the eighth lunar month, when the moon is the brightest. It also has a very interesting story of how it had started that I will tell you next time when I write to you again.
On the day, we have to clean our houses and hang up many colourful lanterns. Families will gather together to look back to our past and look forward to our future. We will also have a big dinner. Children will have a lot of fun at night playing with lanterns and eating many special food and snacks as well. How I wish you can come and enjoy a wonderful Mid-Autumn Festival with us!.
