首先，我们参观了许多毛主席曾经用过的物品，给我印象最深的是毛主席那已经有了七十二个补丁的衣服，看着这件衣服，我思绪万千，我们的伟大领袖是多么艰苦朴素啊！看，那里有毛主席用过的笔；毛主席写的那刚劲有力的字；毛主席穿过的布鞋；毛主席用过的放大镜……这时，我眼前仿佛呈现出毛主席在朦胧的灯光下处理国家大事，多么认真；毛主席走在行军的路上，把马让给伤员骑，多么无私；毛主席用放大镜研究者地图，运筹帷幄，指挥千军万马，多么神勇……
接着，我们来到了息烽集中营，那里四面崇山峻岭，古树参天。解说员阿姨给我们讲了许许多多共产党人的感人事迹，看着阴暗潮湿的牢房，阴森恐怖的山洞水牢，沉重的手链脚镣，我仿佛看见一个个共产党员在受敌人的严刑拷打仍威武不屈，看见“小萝卜头”瘦小的身体趴在地上学写字，我的眼角湿润了。
这次旅行的所见所闻让我一下子长大了许多，和以前艰苦的生活相比，我们现在是多么幸福快乐啊！而这些都是一位位共产党人用鲜血换来的，所以我们要加倍珍惜，学好本领把祖国母亲建设得更加美好！
