Time spent at a university is a most wor thwhile period in a young person's life. This is a time when a student begins to form his or her ideas about life in gene ral. Attending classes and studying in th e library keep a student busy and provi de him or her with access to valuable in formation, adding to his or her knowled ge base.
Campus life can also be rich and colorf ul. Most universities offer a variety of e xtracurricular activities such as sports e vents, contests, and other social gatheri ngs, enabling the students to experienc e relief fi'om study and homework. Stu dents often form lifelong friendships th rough the varied experiences of univers ity life.
During the time a student spends at uni versity, he not only develops his intellec tual ahilites,he also develops social skill s as well as knowledge and wisdom nec essary for choosing a future career. By l earning how to balance intense study a nd recreation, a student will be well pre pared for the challenges of future resp onsibilities.追问
