I am glad to hear from you. In your letter you asked me for some advice on how to make friends. In my opinion, friendship is very important to us all. Everyone needs friends. To make friends, we must be friendly to others. Smile at others and we are sure to get a smile in return. We should try to make a stranger feel at home. Think more of others than of ourselves and don’t judge a person by his or her appearance.
When we don’t agree with someone, don’t quarrel but discuss with him or her. Besides, never believe in those who leave us when we are in trouble. Remember: A friend in need is a friend indeed.

Dear Peter, I was received your letter and would like to anwser your question. You were asked me how to learn Chinese well. I will give my suggestions on four aspects. Firstly, it is better for you to find a Chinese learning course and join it. There will be a professional teacher who can povide you some good methods. Secondly, i suggest you to read more Chinese magzines and newspapers. Through this way, you can promote your ability on Chinese reading speed. Besides, you also could know more about culture of China. Thildly, you can learn some Chinese songs. At last, making more Chinese friends is helpful for your Chinese learning.
