1. I’m going to the paint bookcase pink. it指的是the bookcase，是动词paint的宾语，只能放到paint的后面。
2. What are you doing?问的是对方现在正在干什么；而What are you going to do? 或者 What are you going to do now?问的是对方计划、打算要干什么。这里边涉及到两个时态：be doing，正在进行时，表示说话时正在发生的动作；be going to do，一般将来时，表示计划、打算将要发生的动作。

1、be going to do 这个结构中be是谓语动词，而一句简单句中谓语只能有一个。
所以，在 I’m going to paint is pink中，am和is 出现了2个谓语，显然是不对的。
同理，I’m going to paint bookcase is pink ，2个谓语不正确。
it 指代bookcase，替代没有问题，但不太这么用。可以说:
The color of bookcase that I'm going to paint is pink.

2、What are you going to do?你将要干吗？（be going to do sth是将要干某事的意思，是将来时的结构。）
What are you going to do now?这句就不正确了，又是将来又是现在，显然矛盾了。
