I am very grateful to you for your concern about the Beijing Olympic Games. There were 639 people taking part in 28 major events' competitions in the Chinese delegation, and they achieved 51 gold medals, 21 silver medals, and 28 copper medals, which is first time at the top of the gold medal standings of the history. That is the best result of the history which broke four world records in sports performances and realize spiritual double harvest. It has won the honor for the motherland and the people. Secondly, besides do my homebook, I'll do some beneficial reading so as to broaden my horizons. Thirdly, in my spare I'll watch TV to relax myself. And I will go to watch the fireworks. It's very nice to watch.

4. An Unforgettable Holiday

　　I am 'always busy with my lessons. What I have to do everyday is nothing but study.
　　Luckily, last summer my family went to my uncle's farm.We enjoyed a really interesting holiday. During the holiday, I didn't have to get up early, nor did I need to finish many exercises. I rode the horse in the fields. I milked the cows on the farm. To my great joy, my uncle invited me to go fishing. Life on the farm is quite different from that at school. I want to go back to spend my summer holiday again.

5. My family is going on a trip around China during the school holidays. The first place to go is the Great Wall. It is the longest wall in the world. Then we are going to take a plane to Hangzhou. We are going to see the West Lake and drink we are going to drink "Longjing Tea". They will also visit Sanya. We plan to go to Xi'an and Harbin, too.
Harbin is in the north of China. It is in Heilongjiang Province. Beijing is the capital of China. There are many interesting places to visit. Hangzhou is in Zhejiang Province in the east of China. The famous place there is the West Lake. Xi'an is in Shaanxi Province. Sanya is in the south of China. It is in Hainan Province.

It was the first day of our winter holiday. All of us were very happy. Why? Because we have one months to do things we love to do. We are free. Although we have some homework. But we can finish them in several days. And the rest time we can make good use of. My god! We have been very tired after hard studying. In winter holidays, I will have a good rest.

It was the second day of our winter holiday. I felt good. I felt I’m free. I had a lot of time to do things I like. My parents are in Beijing. So I live alone but I don’t feel lonely. But I didn’t do something special. I stayed at home and watched TV. Oh! I wrote an English daily composition. It was my homework. Today, I have slept for 14 hours. I thought I was very tired. It was time for dinner. I must go! I am very hungry.

It was the third day of our winter holiday. Today, there are many business in my mother’s company. So my mother told me to help my uncle who is the manager of my mother’s company. I sat in my mother’s office and help her answer the telephone. While I was free, I was writing my homework. Although I also have a lot of time to do my homework, I still do it. We should take good use of our time.

It is a special day today. My mother sent one hundred basket of red bayberries（杨梅）. I like to eat red bayberries. It tastes nice. When they arrived in Shanghai, they were still fresh. But most of them would be sent to my mother’s business friends. I chose the best basket of red bayberries to eat. I put the rest in my refrigerator. Red bayberry is my hometown’s special product. It is well-known in china. Many people like to eat it.

Today, I still went to my mother’s office. My mother was very busy, so was my father. They always live in Beijing. They must get up early. Because they will manage the factory. So I know they are very busy. So I should save my money. Also I should help them. Although I can’t do something useful, but I think I should share the work with them. I am one of my family member. In the future, I will take a job and work. It’ time for me to begin to learn how to work.

We were glad to see so many animals though we were tired.

It was Sunday today and it was a fine day.My parents and I,together with Lulu,our pet cat, went to the park for fun.We set out at 8:00 in the morning,and got there at 8:30.We saw a lot of people there.Some of them watched the monkeys,some played games,some had a rest under the trees.The trees were green,the flowers were colorful ,the birds were singing in the trees.We were really glad to see this.We were walking along a path when suddenly a lovely bird flew up and stood on a branch of a tree just near us.Wow,wonderful! I was about to walk to it and caught it when suddenly Lulu let out a sound of"Meow".The bird got scared and flew away in a flash.
We felt terribly hungry and tired after a long walk.We went to a restaurant for a rest and lunch.We wanted several dishes,such as rice,chitcken and vegetables.We continued our trip after the big meal. At about five o'clock in the afternoon,we went home.

5.A Sad Day
I had a maths exam last week.It was not difficult.I worked out all the problems in time.Today the result of the exam came out.To my great surprise,I failed it.I had thought that I would pass it.I was quite sad.It turned out that I had made some mistakes in the exam thanks to my carelessness.What a sad day!
6.A Trip to the Ocean Park
My parents and I went to the ocean park last Sunday.We went by bus.We left home
at 8:00am and got there at 8:30am.There were a lot of people in the park,boys
and girls ,young and old are everywhere.We were very excited.We saw many
colorful and strange fishes.But what's most interesting was watching the dolphin
show.It was on at 3:00pm.The lovely dolphins jumped out of the water suddenly
and dived under the water again quickly.Then they swam close to the ball and
suddenly hit it with their noses.Soon they began to dance with music.
Wow!How amazing it was!It was a nice trip.
7.A Visit to the Zoo
It was Sunday yesterday and it was a fine day,Liu Dong and I visited the zoo.We went by bus.We got there at 8:30 in the morning.We saw different kinds of animals.The monkeys were very funny,jumping and running.The tigers were so strong,sitting on the ground.We were very glad to see the giant pandas and tall giraffes.They were really lovely.Animals are our good friends,we should get on well with them.
8.October 1st,National Day Fine
It's the 60th anniveray of our country this year,and it's October 1st National Day today.I got up very early,my parents and I watched TV at home after breakfast.Many activites were on for the National Day on TV.I liked the parade most.And in the evening,we watched the evevning party on TV.We were very happy and proud that our country are getting stronger and stronger.
9.A Happy Trip
Our school organized a three-day trip last week.The first day we went to the beach,it was a fine day,the sun was shining brightly,the wind was blowing softly,and we had a good time.The second day we went climbing.The wind was so strong that we felt tired.The third day we visited the museum.There were many people and it was very crowded.Hower we felt very happy.
It was a happy trip.
