the Spring Festival
Far and away the most important holiday in China is Spring Festival, also known as the Chinese New Year. To the Chinese people it is as important as Christmas to people in the West. The dates for this annual celebration are determined by the lunar calendar rather than the GREgorian calendar, so the timing of the holiday varies from late January to early February.
To the ordinary Chinese, the festival actually begins on the eve of the lunar New Year's Day and ends on the fifth day of the first month of the lunar calendar. But the 15th of the first month, which normally is called the Lantern Festival, means the official end of the Spring Festival in many parts of the country.
Spring Festival is the most importantand popular festival in China.Before Spring Festival ,the people usually clean and decorate their houses.And they go to the Flower Fairs to buy some flowers.During Spring Festival ,the adults usually give lucky money to children.People often get together and have a big meal.Some people eat dumpling for dinner.

春节在中国是最重要最流行的节日。很久以前，过春节时，人们常常需要整理打扫房间。并且去花市买些鲜花。春节期间，成年人常常要给小子压岁钱。人们常要在一起聚餐，有些人午夜还会吃饺子

I am very happy ,because spring festival is coming .On this holiday ,i can vist my relatives At the eve of this festival ,my family all arrived,we went together . Then we had a great meal like dumpings.We talked very excitedly,because we didn't see each other for so many times. At the midnight ,we can watch a fire works. On the first day ,my mother and i went to vist my neighbours and said them"Go He Xin Xi!"Then they will give me some red packets,and i felt very happy .On the second day ,we go to my uncle's home to have a meal.My uncle was very kind and make us help myself to something .We had a great time.

On this weeks ,we had so many things,we also learn much .Chinese New Year is our own festival.
