Water leakage and burst are quite common in mine construction and production. If the water leaked or burst into the open mines or drifts exceeds the normal dewatering capacity, then such mines or drifts will be at risk of disastrous flooding.
FEMA is an analysis on various components & elements in the system which may fail in the process of operation and such failures may be of various types. Failures of different type have different impact on the system. In the FEMA, it is suggested firstly to identify the failures of and their respective types, and to find out the impact of such failures on its adjacent parts or elements and ultimately on the whole system; then to propose measures for avoiding or reducing such impacts.
Safety concepts are the key points of “Principles of Safety Science” and the great safety concept is the main line of it. Setting up a scientific safety concept is the key to master the safety principles. Focusing on the safety concepts, this book has made detailed discussions on the historical evolution and establishing basis as well as the great safety concept.
