【摘 要】该研究选取厦门市两所小学的282名二、四、六年级的小学生为被试，通过《Piers-Harris儿童自我意识量表》进行问卷调查，初步调查小学生自我意识水平并对其所在学校、年级、性别等因素，进行了统计分析研究。结果发现：（1）小学生的总体自我意识水平处于正常值范围，但总体平均数略高于常模,说明自我意识水平随着时代进步的发展状况；(2)随着年级的增高，小学生的自我意识水平分数增高；(3)在性别差异上，女生的自我意识水平的平均数高于男生，且差异显著；（4）不同学校对小学生自我意识发展的影响不显著。结论：使用Piers-Harris自我意识量表可较准确地了解小学生的自我意识水平，小学生的总体自我意识水平处于正常范围；学校因素对小学生的自我意识水平的影响不明显，年级、性别因素对小学生的自我意识水平影响较大，但这两因素并不存在交互作用。
