Dear editor,
I'm Li Hua, who is a Grade Three student studying in Xin Hua Senior High School. Now I'm writing to you for some advice.
As you know, I will graduate from the high school soon. I want to join the army after graduation. I think being a soldier can help me develop good habbits and grow up to be a real tough man. What's more, when necessary, I can defend our motherland and make great contributions to our country. However, both of my parents don't agree with me. They think the life in the army is so tough that I can't put up with all the hardship. Besides, there are few holidays and I may miss them and be unable to adapt to the life.
Though I've told my parents I am a grown-up now and that I have the ability to solve the difficulties I will meet, they still don't agree with me. What can I do? Please give me some advice. Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks.
