（摘自课本）
A：Excuse me ,how can I get to the bookstore?
B:Go along this street and turn left at the first crossing……It's about 100 meters along on your right。
其中，为什么B的回答中用go along而不用go up或go down？而且go up ,go down,go along分别是什么意思？
还有“100 meters”后面的along有点多余啊，为什么此句不把along放在前面呢？（虽然 我已经习惯这种句型，但是还是有疑问，是不是后置定语呢？）

是不是“把整条街都走完”根据具体情况有go up/down之分，而中途拐弯要有go along之分呢？

go along 是沿着的意思。而go up 或者 go down 一般情况下的意思是 向上 ，向下。用在此句中不合适。
along本身有沿着的意思。是个介词，不能放在前面。而且不多余。B想表达的意思是沿着右手边走100米。如果没有along，右手的地方还有可能是右手方向，马路对面。

go along 是沿着这条街【一直走】
go up 表示向【北边方向走】，向【上走】，
down 表示向【南边方向走】，和【向下走】。
along在另一条街【 一直】往前走1000米路，store 就在你右边 ，along不能放在前面，顺序颠倒。
我前面跟你讲过 go along , go up, go down 之分， 中途转弯，用turn right 右转， turn left 左转，跟go along 没关系，各是各的。
