原题中motivation是最大的干扰项，因为这两个词都有“动机”的解释，而motive主要是作为动词使用的。

有人选D. drive，我们看一下这个作名词时的意思和用法：

看了这么多，没有找到一句有 某人的motive( motivation/ drive/ push/ intention) is (not) sth. 或is (not) for sth. 的表达。
题句是汉语思维的结果吧。
