Global Shortage of Fresh Water
Many people believe that the world’s supply of fresh water will never be used up. They think that fresh water comes from such a variety of sources that it is always sufficient for use. Such an opinion leads to a shocking waste of water.
As a matter of fact, the earth is short of fresh water. Furthermore, with the rapid growth of the world population, the rising demand for water by industry, and the serious pollution of our surroundings, the world is facing the ganger of running out of fresh water. Actually, in some big cities, fresh water can not meet the daily needs.
Therefore, to find new ways to save water is an urgent task. First, we should pass strict laws to control any waste of water. Second, scientists must work even harder to purify sea water, and try to find substitute to reduce the use of fresh water.

全球淡水资源短缺
很多人认为，世界上的淡水供应将永远不会被使用。他们认为，这样的淡水来自不同的来源，它始终是足够使用。这种观点导致了水的浪费惊人。
事实上，地球上的淡水不足。此外，随着世界人口的快速增长，对水的需求不断增加，以及严重的环境污染，世界正面临的危险淡水运行。其实，在一些大城市，新鲜的水不能满足日常需要。
因此，寻找新的方法来节约用水是一项紧迫任务。首先，我们应该通过严格的法律来控制浪费水。其次，科学家必须加倍努力净化海水，并设法找到替代减少淡水的使用。

Our environment is very important for our lives . We need the fresh air, the clean water and so on . In the past, there were many trees around us ,the air was fresh and the river was clean.But now,people cut down many trees. Air pollution and water polloution are very serious . The environment around us becomes very terrible . We should protect our environment. First, we should plant many trees to keep water. Second , we can ride a bike or walk to the school and work.. Third , we shouldn’t throw the dirty water into the river . Fourth, we shouldn’t use the plastic bags. Finally, we can ask more people to join us.

我们的环境是非常重要的我们的生活。我们需要新鲜的空气，干净的水等。在过去，我们的周围有许多树木，空气是清新的，河流是干净的。但是现在，人们砍掉了许多树。空气污染和水污染很严重。我们周围的环境变得非常糟糕。我们应该保护我们的环境。首先，我们应该种树保持水。其次，我们可以骑自行车或者步行去学校和工作。第三，我们不应该将污水排进河里。第四，我们不应该使用塑料袋。最后，我们可以让更多的人加入我们。

水,是生命之源，这句话人人皆知。但水与生命到底是怎样的一种关系呢？早在离现在有30―40亿年的时候，地球上有了水，而且形成了海洋。这种水，我们被称为远古生态水。而远古生态水又通过某些特殊物质的催化、激活作用，便形成了某种生物高分子，再逐渐发展成具有生命的物体，最后才有了人与动植物。因此可以概括地说：没有水就没有地球上的生命。从这个意义上讲，水无愧于生命之源。
　　水是人类生存和发展的重要资源。现代营养学认为，水在营养物质被人体吸收时，起的是"媒体"作用和"桥梁"作用。水的使命是将这两类营养物质，运输到人体细胞之内。如果没有水，这两类营养物质就被细胞拒之门外，这就是人"脱水"致死的原因。俗话说，"渴死你"，说的也是缺水的严重性和危害性。研究证明,人体重量的65％左右是水。其中在细胞内的水约55％，在细胞外的约10％。一般情况下,人在有水没有食物情况下,可以生存7天左右,但在有食物而没有水环境的情况下,只能生存3天.可见,水对人类生存和经济发展起着决定性的作用.
　　总之，无论是地球生命的形式，还是人生命的维持和成长，都离不开水。因此，将水誉为"生命之源"。也正因为如此，饮水问题成了历代科学家关注和研究的一个重要课题。
　　我国是有13亿人口的发展国家,水资源的污染加剧了我国水资源危机.党和国家十分重视水资源可持续利用.先后制定了[水法等一系列合理开发,利用.保护,节约水资源等相关法律法规.反映了党和国家对水资源利用和保护问题的高度重视.
　　如今我们大多数人对水资源的认识非常的简单,根本不重视节约用水,比如洗手时水龙头开起来不不及时关,洗澡时时把浴缸里的水放满后还一直开着水龙头,想想类似的情况要浪费多少的水啊?都是一些大家力所能及的问题,为什么我们就不愿意动动我们的双手呢?让我们的财富就白白地从我们的手下流失了……难道你就不觉得可惜吗?正因我们对水资源的忽视才会造成今天这样的严重缺水现象,如果还不尽快制止这种浪费现象来保护水资源,那几年以后我们的生活将会是什么样的生活,还会是《生活富裕,生命阳光》吗?请大家仔细想想吧?????
　　我作为一名少先队员,尽自己的一点微薄之力来呼吁社会,来宣传和倡导保护水资源,节约用水;从我做起,从一点一滴做起,人人提高对水的认识.珍惜水、爱护水、节约水、为子孙后代造福.水～使之美，水～使之润,水～使之生；让我们一起来珍惜每一滴水吧!!!!!
