    在我们家乡称端午节为五月节，在这个节日里，除了赛龙舟吃粽子外，还有本地特别的风俗，比如在自家大门上挂上葛藤、桃枝、菖蒲和艾叶等以避邪避祸，以艾叶、菖蒲等煎汤沐浴。端午节也是一个家庭团聚的节日，出嫁后的女儿们每到这个节日都要回娘家团聚。

    In my hometown the Dragon Boat Festival is named as the May Festival,during which there are special local custom such as hanging kudzu,peach branches,calamus and moxa leaf to get rid of bad fortune and bathing in water boiled with moxa leaf and calamus,besides dragon boat contest and zongzi eating.The Dragon Boat Festival is also a day of family reunion.The married daughters always return her parents' home in this festival.

    Dragon Boat Festival is just called May Banking Holiday in our hometown,besides holding Dragon Boat Race and eating rice dumplings,we have local special custom during this festival,such as hanging kudzu vine,branches of peach trees,calamus,Chinese mugwort leaf and so on in order to to avoid evil spirits and run away from calamity,we also bath by using the soup made by some vegetational such as calamus,Chinese mugwort leaf.Dragon Boat Festival is a big day for family reunion,and the feme covert will enjoy this festival with their own parents.

    In my home town, the dragon boat festival is also called as May holiday, during which, we will have local customs practices apart from dragon boat races and glutinous rice balls. For example, we will hang leaves of Pueraria, Peach, Acorus and Artemisia over our doors to repel the evil spirits; we will also bath in water boiled with Acorus and Artemisia. The Dragon Boat Festival is also an occassion for family reunion, married daughters will return to parents' home during the holiday.
