　　I have a dream that I am always young. Then I will have enough energy to do everything whenever I want. Moreover, I don't have to worry about the old age during which I even can't take care of myself. I know that my dream will not come true. However, I think it is lucky that I am young now. 　　My favourite flower is lily. Lily is the national flower of France. I like white lily best. Because it’s very beautiful and pure. I planted a white lily in my garden in spring. I watered it every day. It grew very fast. It was taller and taller. One day, I got home after school. The lily blossomed. It looked like an elegant fairy. I was too excited to cry, “Oh, white fairy, white fairy!” I couldn’t help dancing. At that night, I dreamt that I was a beautiful fairy.

1 Done, 已完成的。work all done 就是工作都完成了，相当于work all finished, 或者work all accomplished. Quiet like, some still day 平静地就像那些沉睡的日子。Still days 是安静的，沉睡的日子，静寂无声的日子，tranquil silent calm days.

2 Folk : 民间的，传统的。民歌是folk songs, 民间传说是folk tales，民间艺术是folk arts

它本身也是一个名词：People descended from a common ancestor. 一群拥有共同的祖先的后人。也可以指parents. 口语里指父母。

e.g: I’d like you to meet my folks. 我想要你见见我的父母。

They are just simple folks. 他们只是普通的村民。

3 Fret: 烦躁，焦急。它指的是一种过多的，不必要的忧虑。Worry unnecessarily or excessively.

e.g:

Babies often fret (themselves) when their mothers are not near.

婴儿常常因母亲不在身边而哭闹.

Fretting about it won't help.

发愁於事无补.

4 No more stumbling on the way 我们推测一下这句话，结合上下文，猜测一下，stumbling 大概应该指的是颠倒流浪，摔跟头。要回家了，一路不再流离失所，要返家了，就要找到归属。

Stumble: work unsteady; miss a step and fall or nearly fall 走路不稳，磕磕绊绊，也可以指做事情不顺利。

e.g:

I stumbled over a tree root.

我在一个树根上绊了一跤。

The child stumbled through a piece by Chopin.

那孩子费劲地奏完一支肖邦的曲子。

5 No more longing for the day, going to roam no more. Roam: 漫无目的地四处游荡，漂泊，闲逛，徜徉。move about aimlessly or without any destination, often in search of food or employment 也指言谈没有中心，东扯西拉。

He settled down after years of roaming.

漂泊数年后，他定居了下来。

The speaker roamed freely over the events of the past week.

Longing: 我们以前讲过是渴望，热切地渴望的意思。

e.g：I long to go home. 我确实渴望回家。

The children are longing for holidays. 孩子们热切地盼望放暑假。

No more longing for the day, going to roam no more 也就是不再空等，不再蹉跎岁月。

6 Break, 打破，切碎，break of day 打破黎明，冲出黑暗，也就是拂晓。

7 Restless dreams 无休止的梦境。 这里照应了前面讲到的fret 也指焦虑，不安宁的。

男孩因饥饿而变得焦躁不安。
