Well known person of American history, Martin Luther King Jr. began experiencing racial prejudice at an early age. There is a short story about how young Martin encountered racism. One sunny day, while going out to play with his friends, He went to a friend's house, knocked on the door, and asked for his friend. But his friend's mother told him that he was too old to play with her boys. Naturally, Martin rushed home and explained to his mother what just happened. She comforted him and told him that “many people don't consider African Americans as good as white people”.

The early life of Martin Luther King Jr. was marked with numerous such situations. One thing is certain - it will never be revealed which, if any, of these experiences was actually a “trigger” for his later actions - the ones he eventually became known for.本回答被提问者采纳

I have a dream---Martin Luthur King Junior

I say to you , my friends,so enen though we must face the difficulties
of today and tomorrow,I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American
dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of
its creed -we hold these truths to be self-evident,that all men ae created equal.
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, sons of former slaves and sons of
former slave-ownner will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day, even he state of Mississippi,a state weeltering with the
heat of injustice, weltering with the heat of oppression, will be transtormed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream my four little children will oneday live in a nation where they will
not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.
I have a dream doday!
I have a dream that one day down in alabama, with its viciout racists, with its
govermor having his lips dripping with the words of interposition and nullification, one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and btothers.
I have a dream today
i have a dream that one day everyvaller shall be exalted, every hill and mountain
shall be made low ,the routgh places shall be made plain, and the crooked places shall be made straight andthe glory of the Lord will be revealed and all flesh shall se it together
This is out hope. This is the faith that I go back to the South with
With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope
With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood.
With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to go to jail together,
konwing that we will be free one day.
This will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with new
meaning-"my county" its of thee; sweet land of liberty;of thee I sing; land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim's prinde;from every mountain side , let freedom ring"and if America is to be a great nation, this must become true.
So let freedom ring --from the prodigiout hilltops of New Hampshire, let freedom ring:
from the mighty mountains of New York.Let freedom ring ---from the heigthtening
Alleghenies fo Pennsylvania.
Let freedom ring from the sno-capped Rockies fo Colorado.
Let freedom ring from the curvaceout slopes of California.
But not only that.Let freedom ring from the stone Mountain of Georgia.
Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee.
Let freeom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi ,from every muntainside, let freedom ring.
When we allow freedom to ring ,when we let it ring from every willage and hamlet,
from every state and city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's
children -black men and white men, Jews andGentiles, Catholics and Protestants _will be able to join hands and to sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at last, free at last;thand god almight, we are free at last."本回答被网友采纳
