Abstract
Teaching of Reading is a series of teaching behavior, for which refers to English workers in education and teaching to complete of the reading ability of rapid and efficient implementation. Every English teacher must be studied the outline of the provisions in depth, to make cultivating a strong reading skills as the first level of the teaching objectives, and to strengthen the developing and training of other skills.
Reading is a communicative act, a integration of people's language skills and communicative competence. In order to obtain the required information directly, you must apply knowledge of language, using a variety of reading skills, judging, inferencing, identifing the reading of texts' views and information, and valuating these views and information. This reading activities is undoubtedly a communication between the readers and the author. In modern society, there is a wide range of information sources, while the main channel of access information is reading. Learning of a language are aimed at communication, for learners, the examination is a means, but communication is the main purpose. In CET-4, Reading comprehension accounts for a large parts, therefore, learning to read in English accounted for a very important position. The main problem of How to Improve Reading Ability is discussed in this paper.
