I think these manners are very important for us . Because they are enable us to get along well with others.

第一，not only but also前后应当成分一致。把not only放在teaches后面妥当。
第二，be important for sb后面往往跟to do表示某事对某人的重要性。此处文意应该是要表达manners(礼貌、规矩)对人很重要，important后面应当接to。
第三，because在书面中只有连词用法，连词不可以单独引导句子，故应与前句打通。
第四，enable是及物动词，后面直接引导就可以，前面不能加上系动词are。en是一种动词前缀。
