为什么要用两个to
追答第一个表示目的，“拿书”要做的事用to引出，第二个是read to sb.表示给某人读书
追问那如果要表目的呢

顺便说明一下，刚查了一下，百度翻译读书给某人是不加to的，我水平有限，翻译可能有问题，第二个to最好别加了

追答理解不同吧，但是根本没有可能直接加read
book to read可以，不定式作定语，那就是翻译成把要看的书给学生看
to read好像也不太对，应该是to have them read books 让他们看这些书
