Should the University Campus Be Open toTourists?
Recently we had a debate discussion about whether the university campus should be open to tourists. Some people agree and they think universities,such as Peking University and Qinghua University , are the places where people can explore the culture and history of China. Besides , foreigners can get more information about education in China. But some disagree and they think university campus is the place for students to study and it should be kept quiet and clean. in my opinion, university campus should be closed on weekdays but during vacation it can be open to tourists.

Should the University Campus Be Open toTourists?

Regarding whether the university campus should be open to tourists, my opinion is: it should be conditionally open.

On one hand, many universties boast abundnt historical and cultral importance. Visitors can not only experience a strong academic atmosphere there, but they will also moved by the humanistic spirit handed down over centuries.

But on the other hand, a university is, after all, a seat of education. Safety and normal teaching order are also indispensable for both the students and the falcuty. So I don't think all the buildings and places can be open to the public.

To sum it up, the university campus should be open to tourists, but first we must specify a range of places that can be open. What's more, regulations should be made, measures should be taken and daily management should be strengthened to ensure a safe and normal teaching order.

When it comes to whether the university campus should be open to tourists ,there is no complete agreement among people.Some people take it for granted that university campus should embrace tourists across the country.However, others maintain that the university campus should be closed to tourists. In my opinion, university campus should be open to tourists. Those people who hold the first opinion believe that refusing tourists is against universities' spirit of openness.In addition,they insist that no university has the right to reject taxpayers to enter its grounds because it is public land.However ,still others think differently. In their opinions,too many tourists will add a burden to the security department of the university. Besides,they argue that these tourists will destroy the quiet environment and influence students' normal study. Weighing up these two arguments,I prefer the former opinion.For one thing, it is a good thing for the students to visit the famous university campus in that it can enable the middle students to get more information about the university and they can have enough time and opportunity to prepare themselves with the chance to get into the university. For another, a university should be an open place and impart the spirit of openness to its students.Considering these,I may reasonably conclude that the university campus should welcome all tourists.
