After the storm，the villagers were______(safety)on th mountain.我不知道这题怎么写，我认为是系形，所以应该还是填safety，可是又觉得好像不正常。

其中, it为形式宾语, 不定式作真正的宾语, 形容词作宾补.

其实,此题填is helpful, 从语法上也讲得通: find 后跟宾语从句, it 是宾从的形式主语,
is helpful 是系词和表语, 不定式to read this before exams.作真正的主语.
但is helpful 不如 helpful 简洁、地道。有点画蛇添足的味道，显得中式化，即汉语式的英语。

2. 你填 furniture是对的.因为它是不可数名词,没有复数形式.

3. 填safety不对, 因为safety是名词, 这儿需要填作表语的形容词,因此填: safe.
