1、诊断疾病方法
⑴诊断前检查仪器及其附件是否处于良好状态。
检查方法：打开仪器后部的电池盒盖，并装入三节5号电池（注意正负电极）或用配套的专用直流稳压器供电。

⑵检查仪器并确定其诊断功能正常后，把两个输出电极（11）分别插入指环（13）的小孔中和诊断笔（12）后部的小孔中，然后将指环套在被诊者的手指上。
⑶调整基准：先把诊断笔的笔尖轻压在被诊者的“上耳根”穴位，（见图11及图5）。按下电源开关（4）接通电源，然后缓慢点按右强度按键，加大输出至黄灯闪亮、间断报警，以此作为“诊断基准”（如基准调得过灵敏，则可以调左强度键（▽）以减少输出，反复增加和减少输出，使基准达到最佳状态）。
注意：每次诊断前必须进行此步骤，按强度按键时应细心，不得调得太高或太低，若基准调得太高时，会发生假阳性，即被诊者没有病也会出现到处报警；当基准调得太低，则会出现被诊者某一器官有病，但诊断时却不报警的现象。碰到上述情况都要重新调整基准，基准调好后不要再按强度按键。

当诊测到某个穴位，仪器发出声光报警时，说明与该穴位相应的器官或部位有病变或异常，报警声音较诊断基准的报警声越大，说明病变越重，如果没有报警声，则说明该穴位相对应的器官或部位正常。
诊断时，左右耳均应诊测，人体左半部的病变往往会在右耳穴上反映出来，右半部的病变会在左耳穴上反映出来。
剧烈活动后、酒后、天热有汗时，不宜诊断。诊断完毕请关机，并将输出电极从指环及诊断笔上取下。

2、治疗疾病方法
首先将仪器插入专用直流稳压器或装入电池。并参照图1，将诊疗线（18）上的插塞（10）插入输出插口（9），另一端两个输出电极插塞分别插入耳模、贴片、脚模等，并将其正确安置在人体凸出部位或体穴上。
按电源开关接通电源开机，参照图6，将开关（8）置于“治疗”位置，电源指示灯5亮。并缓慢点按右强度按键，对应治疗指示灯亮，直至电极接触皮肤有针麻感（以能忍受并感到舒服为宜）。
治疗时间：一天二至三次，每次20～30分钟，每天次数多些效果会更好，经常治疗，可疏通经络，大大增强免疫力。
治疗完毕请关断电源 。
切记：调节强度应由小到大缓缓操作，避免突然调节过大造成不适。
